UPDATED JBW TRADE LOG

Section 1.1. Posting Trades.

All trades must be emailed to each member of the TRB and your trading partner prior to the last day of each trading period on Monday at 8:00 p.m. EDT following this format:

A. JBW Teams making the trade

B. First and last names of all players involved in the trade.

C. Last series played by each player if he is on the 26-man Major League Roster or if he is on the Minor League Roster.

D. AB/IP used in JBW play by each player in trade.

E. AB/IP remaining for JBW play by each player in trade.

F. MLB organization for each player involved in the trade. If traded players are retired or in a non-MLB organization this should be noted.

G. Draft picks, future considerations and player(s) to be named later are no longer allowed due to abuse and difficulty in assessing value at the time of the trade.

H. The managers making the trade may express their reasons for making the trade to the TRB by email. All TRB members should be copied on this email.

I. Once a trade is reviewed and approved by the TRB, it is official and neither manager can back out of it. If a manager wishes to withdraw from a trade, he must do so before 8:00 p.m. on the Friday it is to be reviewed. The approved trades that are not withdrawn from become official at 8:00 PM. It is the responsibility of the Deputy Commissioner to inform the league promptly via email if this deadline is being extended for any reason.

J. If you have posted a trade and choose to withdraw from the trade (whether before or after the TRB voting) you must notify the TRB and the other team involved in the trade of your withdrawal. If you do not notify both the TRB and the other team, the League will not recognize your withdrawal.

K. No player may be used in a series scheduled on or before the week in which a player is acquired. For example, if a player is acquired in a trade in the first week of the season, when Series 1 is scheduled to be played, the player would not be eligible until Series 2.

Section 1.2. Other Rules Regarding Trading.

A. No player may repeat a series in the majors. If a trade occurs in which one team has already played a series and the other participating team has not, the team who is behind may not use either the players traded away or the players traded for during the same series number on the schedule. If the players were on the minor league roster prior to the trade they may be placed on the major league roster and play that series. Once the acquired player(s) are eligible, roster moves may be made pursuant to Article 1.

B. No trade may be posted for players not currently owned by the trading team.

C. Trades may be placed on hold for clarification of intent, content, procedure or any other reason deemed necessary by either the Commissioner or the Deputy Commissioner. Once a trade is placed on hold either manager shall be allowed to withdraw from the trade. If a held trade is approved by the TRB, positive confirmation must be received from all trade participants that they continue to wish for the trade to go through before it becomes effective.

D. Trading of draft picks is prohibited.

E. You may not post more than two trades involving the same player at the same time.

F. After a trade has been approved, each manager involved needs to send the "traded" player(s) stats to their new team.
