2024 JBW WORLD SERIES IS SET

Fall Classic will feature Father - vs - Son

It'll be the AL Champion JBW Royals going against the NL Champion JBW Nationals, as JJ and his son Andrew are set to square off in the JBW version of the fall classic.

Washington defeated the JBW Phillies 4 games to 1 to take the NL pennant and return to the JBW World Series for the second time in three years. Days earlier, the JBW Royals had defeated the JBW Twins in the ALCS, also in five games. Kansas City had reached the ALCS last year, but fell to the eventual 2023 World Series Champions, the JBW Angels.

In the 2024 regular season, Washington swept Kansas City 4 games to 0.

World Series date, time, and location are To Be Announced.

JBW WELCOMES NEW MANAGER

Dwayne B. will be taking over the reigns of the JBW Angels, moving the franchise to Cleveland to become the JBW Guardians (in the AL East) in 2025. We welcome Dwayne and wish him good luck!

As of this writing, there is one remaining vacancy*: The former JBW Blue Jays, who will play in the AL West next season, presumably as the JBW Mariners, JBW Astros, or JBW Angels.

*possibly two, depending on the situation with the JBW Red Sox

OK, here's what happens when the MLB season's over and retired guys have far too much time on their hands...

I looked back at the first SIX rounds of the 2024 Draft (i.e., the rounds in which ALL 20 JBW teams made a pick) and applied the player's 2024 WAR (per baseball-reference.com) to determine which GMs had the best day (yes, you can argue that this analysis is imperfect, and you'd have a case).

Top 5, Average WAR: #1 YANKEES 1.88, #2 PHILLIES 1.77, #3 ANGELS 1.50, #4 TIGERS 1.48, #5 REDS 1.45. Overall, the NL's 1.04 average topped the AL's 0.90.
